History

A modest beginning was made in the field of logistics in the year 1935 by Shri Vijay Shamalji Sanghavi as a Proprietor. The Proprietary concern was then changed to Partnership Firm in the name of M/s. Vijay S. Sanghavi & Co. and subsequently the name was changed to M/s. Sanghavi Brothers. In the year 1987, the firm changed its constitution to that of Private Limited Company and Sanghavi Freight Fowarders Pvt. Ltd. was incorporated. Due to the experience and vision of Shri Vijaybhai S. Sanghavi the company has grown into a major service provider catering to the needs of importers and exporters for customs clearance and storage of various products.

Our Management

The company is being currently managed by Mr. Kishor V. Sanghavi and Mr. Bharat V. Sanghavi, sons of Shri Vijay S. Sanghavi. Both directors are adequately qualified and experienced in the field of custom clearance of various types of cargoes. Inspired by their father, they have inherited hard work and positive attitude and further developed the company into a complete Supply Chain service and Logistics Solutions provider to cater to the needs of various Importers and Exporters at Mumbai, JNPT, Hazira, Kandla, Dighi and Mundra Ports.

The company has been a Licensed Customs House Agent since 1935. It mainly caters to Custom Clearance, Storage and Handling of Imported Bulk Liquid Chemicals, Edible and Non edible Oils, Petroleum Products, Chemicals imported i n Break Bulk, ISO Tank Containers and Flexi Tanks.

The company comprises of hard working, dedicated, knowledgeable and professional manpower to provide “one-stop-solution” to meet all logistics requirements of Importers/Exporters with personalized services at every level with alacrity. Being one of the oldest players in this field of logistics, the company enjoys a good standing with Custom/Port officials, Tank farm Owners, Surveyors, Transporters, Shipping Lines and various other authorities.
